LM2805
The ZKTeco LM-2805 is an electromagnetic (mag) lock, a type of security solution used for access control in both commercial and residential properties. It operates on the principle of electromagnetism, where a strong magnetic force is created when an electric current passes through it, locking the door by attracting an iron plate mounted on it. The lock is "fail-safe," meaning it unlocks when the power is removed.
Features and specifications
- Holding force: The lock provides a strong tensile force of up to 280kg, or about 600 lbs.
- LED indicator: It includes an LED light that detects and indicates the lock's power status.
- Signal output: The lock provides a feedback signal (NO/COM/NC) that can be integrated with other access control systems for status monitoring.
- Power: The LM-2805 can operate on either a DC 12V or DC 24V input. Some models list the working current at 480mA ±5% when using DC 12V.
