The Commax DRC-24MX is a 24-apartment video intercom sub-panel used in conjunction with a main lobby phone system for multi-family buildings. It is designed to work with a system that includes a main entry unit with an RF card access control system. 
Features and functionality
  • Video door camera expandability: The DRC-24MX acts as an expansion unit for a main entry panel, such as the DRC-24XM(F), which features an OLED display and supports RF card access.
  • Direct-button interface: It features 24 direct call buttons, allowing visitors to directly contact a specific apartment.
  • Access control integration: It is part of a larger system that allows residents to gain access using an RF card key.
  • Visitor communication: When a resident answers a call initiated from the panel, they can engage in two-way audio and video communication with the visitor at the building entrance.
  • System expansion: Up to one DRC-24MX sub-panel can be connected to a main entry panel.
  • Compatibility: The system is designed to connect to Commax videophones inside each apartment. 
Compatibility and usage
  • Main panel: It is designed to be paired with a main lobby phone, such as the Commax DRC-24XM(F).
  • Internal units: The system requires compatible Commax internal video monitors, such as the CDV-70KR3 or CDV-70AR3.
  • Multi-family installation: It is suitable for larger apartment buildings where a 24-button expansion to the main lobby panel is needed
