COMMAX, Outdoor Camera Panel For 4 Apartment

The COMMAX DRC-4AC2 is a 4-button, flush-mounted, color video door camera unit for multi-apartment buildings. It is designed to work with compatible Commax Fine View series video doorphones. 

The DRC-4AC2 features include a 1/4" Color CCD image sensor, operates on DC12V power. It uses a 4-wire installation system to each videophone and 2 wires for the electric door strike. The video standard is NTSC, with a minimum illumination of 0.1 Lux, a horizontal view angle of 68º, and a vertical view angle of 55º. It is designed to function in temperatures between -10ºC and 50ºC. The dimensions are 235mm (H) x 125mm (W) x 16mm (D), with a recessed depth of 59mm. 

Components required for a full system

The DRC-4AC2 is the outdoor camera unit only and requires additional components for a complete video intercom system. Each apartment unit needs a compatible video monitor from the Commax Fine View series, such as the CDV-43U. A separate DC12V power supply, like the Commax RF-1A or RF-12015S, is also necessary. An electric door strike is needed to enable the remote door release function.
