PROFACE-X

The ZKTeco ProFace X is a line of advanced, high-speed biometric terminals used for access control and time attendance. The series features visible light facial recognition, palm verification, and advanced anti-spoofing technology. Different versions offer specialized functions, such as body temperature and mask detection. The terminals are designed to be robust and are suitable for a wide range of environments, including outdoor use. 

Key features
The ProFace X series is powered by ZKTeco's customized AI CPU and computer vision technology. Standard features typically include: 
  • High-speed biometric recognition: Fast verification of faces (in less than 0.3 seconds) and palms (in 0.35 seconds for the P model).
  • Large capacity: Supports large databases of faces, palms, and transaction logs. For example, some models can store 50,000 face templates.
  • Touchscreen display: An 8-inch IPS touch LCD provides a bright, clear interface for interaction.
  • Advanced anti-spoofing: The system can distinguish between live faces and fake photos or videos, enhancing security.
  • Wide dynamic range (WDR) camera: A 2MP camera with WDR allows for accurate facial recognition under various lighting conditions, from very dim to extremely bright.
  • Robust design: Built to withstand challenging environments, the terminals have an IK04 vandal resistance rating and an IP68 dust and waterproof rating. Some models can operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C (-22°F to 140°F).
  • Communication options: Includes TCP/IP, Wiegand input/output, and optional Wi-Fi.
  • Versatile access control interface: The terminal has connections for electric locks, exit buttons, door sensors, and alarms, integrating it into a comprehensive access control system. 
ProFace X variants
There are several versions of the ProFace X, each with a specific focus:
  • ProFace X [TD]: Includes body Temperature and Detection of mask-wearing individuals. This is helpful for public health and safety in high-traffic areas.
  • ProFace X [P]: Focuses on Palm and facial verification, offering a large capacity for both biometric types.
  • ProFace X (SL): Utilizes Structured Light technology for facial recognition. This provides enhanced anti-spoofing by creating a 3D depth map to prevent attacks using photos or videos.
  • ProFace X(DS): Features a Dual Spectrum facial recognition algorithm that uses both visible light and near-infrared to optimize performance in all lighting conditions and for all human races.
